Terms of Service

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the conditions of use for all services provided by the operator ("Operator") of the SNS simulation experience app "Ninkki" ("App"). By using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

  1. The App is an application designed to provide a simulated social media experience for entertainment purposes.
  2. All followers, comments, reactions, and other interactions displayed within the App are automatically generated by AI (artificial intelligence) and do not originate from real individuals.
  3. All numerical metrics displayed within the App, including follower counts, likes, and shares, are simulated and do not represent actual social media metrics.
  4. The App is not an actual social media service and is not primarily intended for social networking with other users.

Article 3 (Accounts)

  1. To use the App, users may create an account using one of the following methods: Apple, Google, email address and password, or guest login.
  2. When using the App with a guest account, data cannot be transferred upon app deletion or device change. Guest users can upgrade to a full account at any time from the Settings screen.
  3. If you forget your password, you can reset it via a password reset email.
  4. The transfer, lending, sale, or any other disposition of an account to a third party is prohibited.
  5. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts.
  6. Persons under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the App. If a person under the age of 13 creates an account, the Operator may delete such account without prior notice.

Article 4 (Service Content)

  1. The App utilizes AI (Google Gemini) to automatically generate comments and reactions to user posts.
  2. The volume and frequency of reactions vary based on an engagement rate model that corresponds to the user's follower count.
  3. The number of posts allowed and available features are limited according to the plan to which the user subscribes.
  4. The App applies NG word (prohibited word) filtering to post content, and posts containing inappropriate expressions may be restricted.

Article 5 (Paid Plans and Billing)

  1. The App offers the following three plans:
    [Regular Plan] Free
    [Celebrity Plan] Monthly: ¥680 (tax included) / Annual: ¥5,400 (tax included)
    [Top Star Plan] Monthly: ¥1,980 (tax included) / Annual: ¥15,800 (tax included)
  2. Annual plans include a 7-day free trial period for first-time subscribers. If cancellation is not completed at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial period, a paid subscription will automatically commence upon expiration of the trial, and charges will be incurred.
  3. All payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
  4. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Charges are automatically applied on each renewal date. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription will automatically renew.
  5. Subscriptions can be cancelled through the iOS Settings app → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Subscriptions cannot be cancelled directly from within the App.
  6. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. The Operator is unable to process refunds directly. For details, please see Apple's official refund policy.
  7. When changing devices or reinstalling the App, previously purchased subscriptions can be restored using the "Restore Purchases" feature.
  8. Guest accounts cannot subscribe to paid plans. To subscribe, users must register with an email address and password, Apple, or Google account.
  9. When downgrading from a higher plan, features exclusive to the higher plan (such as theme and font customization) will be reset to default settings. Posts, comments, and other content data will not be deleted.
  10. Current subscription details, renewal dates, and pricing can be viewed in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  11. Purchase tokens and receipts generated during In-App Purchases are sent to Apple for verification purposes only. Payment information (such as credit card numbers) is never stored on our servers. All payment processing is managed by Apple.

Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
  2. Harassment, defamation, intimidation, or other nuisance behavior directed at other users
  3. Unauthorized access to the App or its servers, or attacks on the system
  4. Acts that interfere with the operation of the App
  5. Dissemination of false information
  6. Unauthorized reproduction, reprinting, or redistribution of the App's content (including AI-generated content)
  7. Posting inappropriate content that is subject to NG word (prohibited word) filtering

Article 7 (Content Rights)

  1. The copyright of content (text, images, etc.) posted by users to the App belongs to the respective user.
  2. The copyright of comments, reactions, and other content automatically generated by AI belongs to the Operator.
  3. Users grant the Operator a non-exclusive license to use posted content to the extent necessary for the operation and improvement of the service.

Article 8 (Friends Feature and Safety Features)

  1. The App includes a friends feature that allows users to mutually view each other's posts through friend requests and approvals.
  2. Users may block other users. A blocked user will be unable to access the content of the user who blocked them.
  3. Users can toggle the realism settings on or off. When enabled, AI-generated comments may include critical or negative feedback to simulate a more realistic social media experience.
  4. The App includes a birthday feature. If users register their birthday, AI will generate celebratory content on that date.
  5. The App provides a passcode lock feature. When enabled, a passcode is required both at app launch and when returning to the app from another application.

Article 9 (Account Deletion)

  1. Users may delete their account at any time.
  2. Upon account deletion, all data including posts, comments, friend connections, and profile information will be permanently deleted.
  3. Once an account and its data have been deleted, recovery is not possible under any circumstances. Please confirm carefully before proceeding with deletion.

Article 10 (Disclaimers)

  1. The App is provided on an "as is" basis. The Operator makes no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or any other aspect of the App.
  2. The Operator assumes no responsibility for the content of comments, reactions, or other content generated by AI (Google Gemini).
  3. The Operator may suspend, modify, or terminate all or part of the service without prior notice due to maintenance, system failures, or other reasons.
  4. The Operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Operator.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms)

  1. The Operator may modify these Terms as necessary.
  2. In the event of modifications, the Operator will notify users of the changes through in-app notifications or other appropriate means.
  3. If users continue to use the App after the Terms have been modified, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms.
